How do I split a 24minute avi. for uploading to youtube?

I made a film and would like to upload to youtube. Problem is that they won't accept it unless its 10minutes or less. I need to know how to split it into three individual segments. I have a program called Adobe Premier Elements 3.0, but I don't know how to use it for that purpose. Any advice please.

google .avi splitter. they're usually very self-explanitory. good luck.
