Watchmen

Took off work early today and wanted to do something, so I ask my girl, who had today off and I would of taken today completely off, but I had a few things to finish at the office before I could. I read the Watchmen book a long time ago, and loved it.

The movie was very long, but it was good and I enjoyed it, however some lady brought her 7 year old son there and the fucker would not shut up and he kept kicking my chair, I let it slide the first time, but after the second time I turned around and told the lady to either get her son to shut the fuck up or leave. Well, she got her son to stop and then during the first gore scene the fucker starts screaming uncontrollably and they had to leave. :nonono:

Why the fuck would you take your kid to a rated R movie that has sex, gore and a LOT of violence?

After they left it was great though, it was a good movie. Very long though. :sun:

long..hmm a good movie to mabye shroom too!!!? I also have the book and loved it the copy I have is from one of the original releases it's back from 1986...I want to read it again before I go but think I should buy a new copy and read. That one keep my 86 in mint condition...

I recommend not reading the whole comic before you see the movie.  Read like the first 3 comics to get a basic feel for the story line.  Then let the movie keep you in suspense for the ending.

That's what I did and it was EPIC

Great movie! A little loud for my taste, but probably necessary. Those watchmen (and woman) sure knew how to kick ass. And don't fuck with Rorschach ...Definitely 5 stars...

Honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Just got back from the theater,

absolutely terrible.
