Not all Christians believe that, some believe that if your a good person you will go to heaven and some don't even believe in hell.


yeah, the Christians that do not know the rules...

someone who doesn't accept Jesus as their lord and savior, = someone who is still full of sin, which means they do not go to heaven.

I was raised Christian. After being the star of my Bible class, even receiving a trophy for memorizing the most verses, I decided at age 13 that I could no longer believe in any god. I was agnostic for a few years before becoming an atheist.

I have many reasons, but one of the main contributing factors was my education in science, and that as my knowledge of the Bible grew I realized that I did not agree with all of its teachings. The ways in which Christians have twisted the Bible to their liking are very shocking to one who actually reads and comprehends it.

However, I've learned that debate on the topic is futile unless you're talking to someone who hasn't made up their mind on the subject. The mindless creationism vs. evolution debates plaguing YouTube are laughable. Neither side will ever change their position, nor even give the other a good listen. I guess I am guilty of this, too, but only because I've heard every theist argument in the book, and find none of them particularly convincing.

every human is full of sin, so its not about being sinful or not

I was saying, if one does not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior, there will be no way to get rid of their sins, therefore...they go to hell.

well, according to the original versions of the bible, not the mis-translated english versions, hell is actually a place ON earth, not some mystical place like heaven...

regardless, the entire bible and christian faith is full of holes and contradictions.  I used to practice heavily, then one day I decided to think for myself.  Not only that, if you learn the HISTORY behind the faith, it is FACT it was made by man, and hasn't been around for as long as many other faiths.  It grabbed a bunch of pieces of other faiths in an attempt to make one supreme faith...this alone says a lot to its legitimacy.
