You could understand why Marley was "beyond" acid? If yes, could you explain?
I made it clear enough that this is what I didn't understand, since his second post was nothing more than nonsense that didn't explain why Bob Marley was beyond acid. Even though I didn't agree with what he said, I did see where he was coming from; otherwise how could have I objected to any of his claims?

I highly doubt it. None of his music seems very acid induced or inspired to me.

He probably did mushrooms though.

I see this forum merging with OTD in the next ten years. I felt like I understood what he was saying and then mushroom trip hit him on the side of the head with a sledgehammer. Anyway, I'm going to go listen to some Marley and decide for my self whether bob makes walls melt and induces Euphoria, but I hope he's not beyond acid because I'm at work right now.

Bob Marley was religious to the point of madness, and it cost him his life (refusing medical treatment for cancer when it could have saved him). Unlike most 'religious' folks you may know, I think Marley actually believed in it, and followed the rules to the letter.

So, we can be almost sure he didn't use ANYTHING other than ganja...

AS for being 'beyond acid' I think he was just super religious and spiritual... with no need for acid to "bring him there". Combine hyper religion with pounds of sensi, and you get quite a trip. :lol:

It is true that he died because of his religious beliefs, but it is also said that the marijuana allowed him to live longer that he normally would have.

You say Bob followed the rules of Rastafari to the letter, but what do they think about love and marriage? Bob was obviously not faithful to his wife and had A LOT of relationships on the side. In fact, of his 11 children, only 3 were with his wife and the other 8 where with all different women. I do not know what Rastas believe when it comes to relationships, but I am curious.

It just made me think about it when you said he followed the rules to the letter. Anyone know?
