Hi!

Does anybody of you, listen to Acid Jazz during Trippin?
Jamiroquai? Brand New Heavies? Dj Krush? Portishead? James Taylor Quartett? St. Germain? etc. ...

I'm also a big fan of Kruder and Dorfmeister.
Medeski Martin and Wood covers some serious acid jazz territory on occasion, too.

I've got some great acid jazz. Ever hear of Jazz Pharmacy? Excellent stuff!

Try some real acid jazz like jimmy mcgriff or jimmy smith or Curtis Mayfield. Acid jazz is jazz with an organ.

And Jazz Pharmacy isn't? You don't seem to know what I'm talking about so don't tell me about "real" acid jazz.

*Edit* Oh, btw...it's not called an "organ". It's a synth keyboard. "Acid Jazz is jazz with an organ"....please....obviously you've never heard Jazz Pharmacy.

Check out Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz vol 1-3. A little bit of a hip-hop soul feel to it.

John Zorn is the shit. Naked City was one of his best albums. Great for trippin.

Most of the time I listen to the most Hardcore heavy Metal I can find though. Most people like soft atmosphereic music. Fuck that, give me carnage and Double bass.
