Vaporizer

i am thinking about investing in one of these. i have never used one but i hear they are great. i usually see them between 100-300$ not really sure what to look for or how much too pay.

are these really worth it? anyone with any experience want to share some info?

I have a volcano, and seriously it's the ONLY thing I use.

I'm thinking of getting a vapir portable vaporizer, very nice long lasting battery pack, and easy to use.

I'm probably gonna get a whip vaporizer off ebay eventually. You can get them for like 35 bucks.

I've tried a few vapes in my day and all I can recommend is the volcano.

vaporstar.co.uk, highly recommended if you want an easy to use vaporizer bong piece for 40 or 50 bucks (forgot the price).  works amazing for me, much easier to use than any box vapor. all you do is but the bud in the piece, close it up and use a lighter for a few seconds and it turns to vapor.

I have never tried anything like the volcano, but this is easily the best vaporizer for such little money.  I don't work for the company btw, I just really dig the piece  :ganja:

35 bucks for a piece of crap that doesn't work. In my experience anyway.

I've yet to try a volcano, but my friend who has an "Extreme" or whatever it's called vaporizer is very pleased with it. I love the thing. It's pretty much a small version of a volcano. It comes with bags, whips and a remote!

The "vaporizers" that require you to use a lighter as the heat source are almost certainly not effective for 99.9% of stoners out there.
That is to say, they ARE effective at getting you high, but not because you're actually vaporizing the material.  Some combustion will almost certainly occur.

Looks like a novel piece of equipment.  Perhaps I was wrong with my earlier statement about vape's that require a burn source to function appropriately. 

Or perhaps that vapor-bong just combusts the material very slowly.  I would like to know more about the metal diffusion cap. 

If someone owns one of these, can you post super-macro shots of the apparatus?

Too bad they're out of stock, or I'd get one to try myself (if they ship to me).

All the same, I will stand by my prior recommendations! :tongue2::spliff:

I don't have a good camera to take a picture with, but honestly this is the best vaporizer I have ever used. I have never tried anything like the Volcano, but for the price,you really can't go wrong with the vaporstar. I'm suprised more people don't know about them, maybe cause they always sell out or something.  it is really easy to use and works consistently with just a few second pull

I'm a little fucked up, but I AM basicially saying that the vaporstar is a really solid piece for the price and it feels cool vaping on the bong

Nope.  The 'Zap pic's (with the exception of the last one) were all taken by me.
The Volcano pic's were lifted from their website several years ago.

Interesting you say that.  I wouldn't say it tastes so much plasticy, but when not in use, the bag and vape have a plasticy smell.  It doesn't really interfere with it's use, still tastes fine (first vape is always the greenest).  I don't have a portable battery for mine, it just plugs in.

I haven't used a Vapir Air One since 2005, at which time the model I used had an automatic fan built in that you couldn't turn off. :crankey:

That thing was infuriating, as unless someone was constantly inhaling, the thing would be blowin' off quality vapor into the atmosphere in between hits.
I can't image they haven't fixed this critical design flaw, but inquiring minds would appreciate some confirmation on the matter!

I don't think I can turn my fan off.  You can turn the heat on and off though.  I always used bags for my Vapir, so vapor getting wasetd wasn't much of a problem for me.  I even just pop the cartridge out if I need to between bags.  I don't really like using a straight tube from the vape.

I used a friends Vapir Vape-O-Matic and it works really well!  It's more of a spendy, stationary vaporizer though.

That's too bad.  Though the bag is an excellent workaround to be sure!  I also enjoy bags as it allows the vapor to cool prior to inhalation.

Is there a way to securely attach a bag to the Vapir Air One or do you just jury-rig it?
