Thank you for pointing this out, I was reading through to see if the point had been made.

The seven deadly sins are sins that, if overindulged in, can supposedly lead to death or damnation.
And thats a good point- overindulge in your lusts, you could get AIDS.  Overindulge in your gluttony, you'll become obese and get health complications.  Overindulge in sloth and you'll starve to death because you're a lazy bum.  It goes on.



no, they are in there, but only in catholic doctrine are they brought forward.

and AIDS is not a sexually transmitted disease, just like cancer is not.
