nice to see that pic for comparison...
when i saw the pic at the top those darker areas on the lower portion of the stump worried me a little, but they are evident in that pic also so nothing to worry about :thumbup:

like this patch (circled) where the green tissue is darker.



it's probably nothing to worry about but considering its recent hardships you should keep a close eye on spots like that and make sure they don't begin to soften.

MMM your right. The tip had some soft spots since it was more vulnerable to freezing at the ends. I figured it was probably strong enough to fight back. I'll keep a close eye.

Its spread along the entire length in little patches. It experienced greezing temperatures during shipping.

This thing is probably trash. Man, I was so pumped about this one... Wow, I feel down man, down...

i've lost two of my largest cristate pedros this week from the cold, as well as most of my myrtillocactus and matucana, so i feel your pain man.

Try spraying anti-fungicides on it and peroxide (I think?, or it was some other thing you can just spray on mold to help the cactus fight back) on the mold

I have work in about 1h :mad:, and usually I wake up, shower/eat/brush my teeth then just go back to bed for like 50mins, but this morning I couldn't fall back asleep
