what do you do with aborts?

ok ive got a few aborts to pick but once their picked do you have to dry them or do you just store them away?

Always dry mushrooms that you are not going to eat soon. You may store fresh mushrooms in the fridge for a short period of time, but fresh mushrooms tend to degrade very easily. If they're cracker dry, you may store them for a long time with no loss in potency.

I usually cut aborts below the cap to see if they're darker than the outside of the stem. If it's darker I cut untill it's the same color then dry it.

I've found a great thing to do with abhorts is to grind 'em up and make yourself some mushroom extract(via pure alcohol extraction).  I just dry and save them until I have 5 or 6 cups, and then you have plenty to make a couple of vials of killer mushroom solution.  5 drops and you're on Saturn. :cool:

Dude, you send the abhorts to me for "inspection", I'll send you back the ones that are safe to eat, needless to say, many are not safe, and very few go back to their origional owners, but its all in the name of safety.
