I think it is absolutely ridiculous how Michael Phelps smoking pot is a bigger deal than the time Michael Phelps got busted drinking and driving.

"If we could sniff or swallow something that would, for five or six hours each day, abolish our solitude as individuals, atone us with our fellows in a glowing exaltation of affection and make life in all its aspects seem not only worth living, but divinely beautiful and significant, and if this heavenly, world-transfiguring drug were of such a kind that we could wake up next morning with a clear head and an undamaged constitution - then, it seems to me, all our problems (and not merely the one small problem of discovering a novel pleasure) would be wholly solved and earth would become paradise." - Aldous Huxley

Anybody who hasn't called it takes literally 20 seconds to get to a representative to state a comment.  Please support your fellow cannabis users!  Including arguably the worlds greatest athlete.

It does seriously take like 20 seconds, and the woman I talked to was really nice and polite.

Don't be afraid they're going to be an ass-hat to you and call you a worthless stoner, because they won't.

I just called and told them that I think their decision sends an appalling message to the youth of America: If you get caught driving drunk, endangering peoples lives, that's okay! Kellogg will still sponsor you. But if you get caught smoking weed at a private residence, not being reckless or endangering anyone, that's where they draw the line.
