I'm a lazy fuck myself,yesterday i slept 12 hours and im unemployed.I;m in the same boat as you...i dont have ANY motivation the majority of the time.

haha yea the hand-fist was a fail to say the least. I am not used to having to describe my location in a state without using a mitten.

The holland brew...yummmm....

I used to take adderall when I REALLY needed to get shit done, but I hated coming down from it..felt like shit for 2-3 days.

I was smoking a lot before I would start homework, then I started to realize my papers made a lot of sense to me but no one else.

I had been in a funk for almost 5 years until i realized i was. I joined a gym, started working out every night, and now i feel the energy to get up and do anything. I can't seem to sit still now. I do sit here at night and post, but even at home i find myself doing something to use up the energy. My house is spotless latley, and i think im going to repaint everything finally. IMO go join a gym and MAKE yourself go at least every other day. The first month is brutal, but after that you feel so good you want to take on the world. At least thats what seems to be working for me.

I even stopped drinking so much damn caffine. I don't really need it anymore.

That guy didn't make much sense...  He says the only reason he does stuff is because of the consequences, losing job etc...  If that was me then I'de force myself to go to work, in order to not loose my job.  Thereby using the slave master heirachy, by telling yourself what to do.  Did I miss the point somewhere?

It's not really about "just do it" or finding motivation. You have to find out why you procrastinate.

Fear of failure?

Fear of success?

Not wanting to do something because it won't be "perfect"?

Do not want to commit to one decision if something better comes along?

Fear of not wanting to give up the pleasure you're enjoying now?

With the paragraph I quoted, you're on the right path to discovering why you procrastinate.

This is very good advice, I have the same experience exactly.

Lazyness breeds lazyness.  Get yourself to a gym.

I know lol. It's sad really that i still do that. I got laid off and it's all the work i can find atm. :shrug:

It works great while im raising my little boys tho. I sit at home during the day with them while the wife is at work, then at night i transform into the superhero pizza delivery kada. At least i bring home cash every night lol.
