Two of my biggest gripes about big sporting events:
1) Everyone bitching about announcers, ESPECIALLY when it's not merited. For example Madden said something early in the game like "The Cardinals will have to run on passing downs and pass on running downs" and while he continued to explain that statement (which made perfect sense) almost everyone I was watching with started ripping him apart. Yeah, I get it, you think Madden is dumb, you say it every fucking game so shut up already.

2) People can't give the Steeler's (or whoever wins) props. Harrison's TD had nothing to do with penalties, neither did Santonio's. They just put together good drives or defensive plays and won. Don't act like the Cards didn't get calls either.

If you wanna bitch about the refs bitch about the last play. As soon as your arm starts going forward it's a passing motion. Give them the ball back, tack on the 15 yard penalty, and because of Fitzgerald they have a legitimate shot of scoring a TD.

Yup, that was the worst ending to a game, I mean especially after all the time they spent reviewing previous plays that didn't even end up getting overturned.  Its almost like they had aired all of the commercials and didn't care anymore, so lets just end the show and go home.

Was a crappy ending to an otherwise awesome game.

Well, yes, but still...there were at least two calls that were pretty much no-brainers, over which they went to superlong commercial breaks and came back and said 'play stands'.

It just kind of sucks that they did that so well until the last play of the game like that...It was pretty anti-climatic
