Continuing problem with GT strain
    #9701980 - 01/29/09 07:44 PM (15 years, 2 months ago)

On three separate occasions with two seperate prints i have had GT cakes in the same terrarium as Mazatapec, B+ and TC strains and in each situation the the other strains have fruited absolutely magnificent. beautiful, healthy, large fruits for cakes, but the GTs either produce gnarly, deformed fruits or (the majority of the time) pin beautifully only to abort every single pin.

Ive searched on this subject, but ive never had this happen before and its bugging the shit out of me and id like to know if i should just scrap this line of GT or what.

Is it multi-spore, LC, or a strain isolate you developed from agar work?

I'm sleepy and stressed. Missed the print part.
That's the chance you take when you use multi spore. Have you tried a simple LC and using that to inoculate to see if the genetics improve yet? Here is a great simple LC tek to try. LC Tek

Why would making a lc from the same spores make any difference?

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
