little help with "mounting" using daemon tools...

im downloading a game (american mcgees alice) off of pirate bay. the instructions are to...

now ive gone and downloaded daemon tools but im not familiar at all with the program, and im a little bit confused as to what exactly im supposed to be doing with it once my download is complete. anyone care to spell it out for a noob?

open up daemon tools. Right click the icon of the program on the toolbar. Go to the 'virtual cd/dvd rom' > then hover over whichever created mounter is listed and click mount image. Now when that pops up go to the folder which you downloaded the torrent in and it should have a .bin .cue or some type of mountable image file to  load. Once you mount it, it usually autoruns. If not go to my computer and click the created image disk drive. Then you can add the registry as you install and add the patch to the installed folder after a  complete install.

I don't know what the image came in, but it'll be the biggest file in there. If it's the same version I got a few weeks ago they are 2 .iso's.

Delete daemon tools and get Poweriso. it's a lot easier all your mounting is done by right clicking the mouse, and you can set up to 8 virtual drives at once.

ok, maybe im retarded, but this shit isnt working.

heres what i did, maybe someone can help me figure out where i fucked up. here is the folder it downloaded to.



i installed it, by going here... entered in the serial code that came with it. everything seemed to install properly.



then using the daemon tool, i right click virtual cd/dvd-rom, mount image it opens up this window, leaving me these 2 options...



i have tried using them both. both give me the same results. after clicking  run autoplay, i get this



i click play alice, only to get this error



im still somewhat new to this kind of stuff, so any help would be appreciated...

Copy the .exe file into the install directory c>prgramfiles>(game company)>Alice

(it's the file that says type "application")

Hmm... so you've mounted an .ISO file on Daemon Tools right? And you run it from that drive specifically? Usually if you autoplay it'll look for the cd in the C: drive. If the game came with a crack, copy that into the directory that Alice installed to and try running it then.
