use poly. it comes 10 feet tall and is sold by the foot 1-2 dollars depending where you get it. mylar is the best but you cant clean it for shit. poly is really thick and is reflective white on one side and black on the other, can be held up with staples. and goes up real quick. when I use mylar I use it on the lower half of the canopy and the ceiling. I tink mylar reflects like 90-95% of the light and polypropelene is like 85-90% of the light so its almost the same.

Here is what I found about reflectability:

Foylon- 94-95%
Mylar- 90-95%
Flat white paint-  85-93%
Flat yellow- 70-80%
Aluminum foil 70-75 (NEVER USE IT!)
Black- <10%

I'm going to go with mylar most likely. I'll consider poly though. I am definetely going to use it to block light from the doorway, with a layer of polyfill in between. I'm going to cover 6 feet up the walls. My plants shouldn't exceed that including the pots. But I will say a 10x8' grow area is going to require a LOT of mylar. I think I found a good price though.

And if ya can't see through the mylar when held up to a light, its probably 2mm. I figured it was the lighting with the yellow plants. Friggin cameras and lights .
