They look like Pan subbs to me. If the print is black then that's what they are.

Its hard to tell with teh colors being off and whatnot.

If they are growing in the grass its most likely foenisecii. THe stems are also too white for them to be subbs.

Im placing my bet on Panaeolus foenisecii. Yes, which is a non-active mushroom.

Nice find however.

the color of the spore print is of utmost import.
the subtlety of the difference between BLACK and DARK PURPLE_BLACK/BROWN makes it hard for those of us just lookin at pics to really decide, as you can see the general state of confusion.
if they are psathyrellas (prob not) they might be edible but why would you?
if they are pan foenisecii, they are edible and if you eat like 2 lbs, you might just get off a little bit...
if they are subbs, those five mushrooms would be like 1/4 of a dose or something less.
have you had any contact with the local university?
sometimes folks would be willing to help, especially if you were interested in what was growing in your lawn/neighborhood. meaning a variety of specimens and species, not just a bunch of lbm's.
good luck peace

Im with angryshroom they are most likely Panaeolus foenisecii, but they could possibly be subbs.  But llike angryshroom said the stem looks a little too light.  They need to be a cinnamin color.  But i have found quit a few subbs in grass though.  I geuss to really find out is to eat them   Good luck

the stipe of subbs will not always be cinmon colored. they are quite often off white. are there vertical groves descending the stipe? where there fibrills on the stipe at the time of harvest? if they are subbs and sprouted after the rain they might have fibrillose stipes, this can be a useful feature in distinguishing them prom foenisecii.

well since i figured that foenisecii aren't toxin, or subs, i figured that with all the tests/spore prints/comments and suggestions i got that the mushrooms were cut down to foenisecii or subs, so i figured to eat some, and no effects. so as a few of you said, you were correct, they were panaeolus foenisecii . And i'll have to go to a new manuer spot i found a mile down the road  :grin

thanks again! keep mushing!
