that was a show called "square one television"  the green guy's name was "mathman"  that stuff scared the crap out of me, too!

hahaha wow... I looked it up and "mr.glitch" was the tornado. Im afraid to watch that. I remember mr.glitch's theme music especially frightened me. I would run out of the room when it came on.

Wow...I dont see how it scared me now. I think it was the ones where he "popped up" halfway through with the theme music that scared me.

haha, yeah.  i didn't like the episode where mathman was on the pyramid.  weird how stuff scares us as children, and we carry it throughout our whole lives.

well, i'm glad i could come up with a solution for one of the "which cartoon is this," but i'm coming up with a blank for the main thread topic.  sounds so familiar though... :frown:

Someone else has to remember something about this cartoon!  At least something that'll help me narrow shit down on google because I'm getting nothing.


Could you try sketching out a few pictures of anything you remember. Even if they're really bad drawings, it might help. I seriously wanna know what show it is your thinking of.

OK, I actually think it was David the Gnome. I remembered that it was on Nick Jr. so I looked at all the shows Nick Jr. had in the late 80's through early 90's and there it was, David the Gnome. The art looks right to me.

The name "David" just doesn't sound familiar to me... I guess I was too young to bother remembering the title (I was like three at most).

I for one hated fraggle rock i was always upset that david the gnome had to be cut off by those greasly over active cheeck clenching abonimations.

:lol:  Thanks man.  I have such a vague memory of this show, but one day I asked my dad about it and told him what remembered from it and he goes, "Oh yeah that was Today's Special."  Then he proceeded to sing the theme song and it blew my mind!
