I think it might have to do with me clearing the ESCD. Is there a way I can revert this? I didn't see any jumpers on the motherboard last time I had my case open, but I'll check again. And the support websites for my computer manufacturer and motherboard manufacturer don't have a lot of useful or easy to find technical info.

I'm giving this thing a week. If I can't get it at top speed again, I might try to sell it, or just smash it Office Space style.

Would removing the chip, starting it up, then reinstalling it work you think?

Thanks for all the suggestions you guys, even though nothing has worked so far. I know I can always count on the Shroomery for help. :thumbup:
