so just curious what the best free programs are that would clean this shit off my pc. i was just working on some 3d stuff and a fucking website popped up filling my entire screen advertising watches. i felt totally violated.

anyways what would you recommend? i'm hesitant to just download something off a google search.

http://www.avast.com/

Those are the best, IMO. Note.. Avast is a virus scanner not a malware remover.
If those don't work for you, you can take more extensive measures.. i.e:
