So I decided I want to live in San Diego

But if I manage to graduate college I don't see myself getting into any kind of graduate schools (I think the most viable option at this point in time is being some sort of teacher.)

One of those "Man, I really fucked stuff up" kind of revelations.

Maybe your boring and mine are different.

MOTH: I had grandparents that used to live in Coronado. It has been a while since I've been, but I loved going out there every time. Such an awesome place. I'd love to live in a really big city. For a long time I thought that city would by New York (and I'd still definitely be happy going there), but something about San Diego is more appealing. The weather, the opportunity to live on the other side of the country but still have some family not too far away.

It probably won't happen since I don't know how I would be able to afford it. If it does happen it won't be for a while. I need to graduate college first. I've really been trying to work out how I can make it happen though. I'm thinking start working towards an physical education degree, couple that with coaching experience in a growing sport out west and I can try and use that to land a decent job.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I have never been to San Diego, but it has always seemed like a very exciting place to be.  I'm sure the weather will be awesome.  That place is sub-tropical and I hear there are lots of fruit trees.

SD has a bunch of great breweries and an overall awesome craft beer scene...

Not sure if you're into that kinda thing, but that'd be a definite plus for me...

Don't worry, I don't need convincing. I just need some way to get on my feet. I'll work on that, then I'll move there. Every time I come home and see my friends who haven't left Syracuse, or their older siblings and their friends who haven't left, I realize how much I would rather commit suicide than be a fucking townie like them.

Also if you're into the blond ditz they're a dime a dozen here. But like someone said Arrogant Bastard is a pretty good SD brewery.  Downtown is pretty active. Hillcrest is the artist/gay section. Southeast is the ghetto, the deep south like Chula Vista is pretty much Mexico.

Man, I miss San Diego so much.  Unfortunately, the need to make a living is greater then my desire to live there so I'm back in the desert.  It is, by far, my favorite city in the US that I've seen.  Anyone who tells you that its boring or elitist is probably a bit of both!

my uncle lived there for a while after he discharged from the
navy, he got tore up one night and stripped naked, ran down the
beach screaming "I came from Tennessee with nothing and I'm
going back with nothing!"

when he started sobering up he was doing his damnedest to
