i think i am going to iceland

my friend works for promotions for a radio station... he gets to go to iceland with the winners of some contest to see some bands and dj's and there is an extra seat... so if i can get a passport in less than a week, i am there...

whats in iceland? whats the weather like? does everyone have hats with horns on them? i dont have much of a clue besides what thor has said in some posts...

oh and that some really good music has come from there, so i am interested to hear whats over there...

Iceland is green and Greenland is icy, from what I've been told. Would like to go there myself one day. I hope you'll tell us what its like if you go. Perhaps Thor can put us up on the scoop?

well, i could not get it at the post office, but they have a passport agency in DC, dealing with "emergency" cases... so with a $60 fee, i will have a passport tomorrow... not bad considering that is all i have to spend for the whole trip... well, not including spending money...

i am damned excited...
