A Bunch of Words: You are either consuming the wrong mushrooms (fake) or the mushrooms you are consuming were horribly preserved leading to the degeneration of much of the psilo. Grow your own mushrooms.

Don't feel bad...I've only had visuals twice in my entire life of tripping (no matter hard)...once from my fist shroom experience (9 grams or so...)...once from 13 hits lsd blotter...I really think it has a lot to do with how mentally suggestive you are...but nayway...later daze...------------------

This might help, might not, but I have found that if you trip someplace busy like a concert you will have few visuals but if you trip someplace quiet and dark and stay focused you may see more. Also try smoking some bud! Try some acid if you can, and if you are growing your own shrooms eat em fresh. Maybe change strains.

I never get stong visuals anymore either. I always get a strong body buzz and good mind altering feeling, of creativity, philosophy, and the thoughts of a thousand in a five minute time. I did on the other hand see some expicite visuals off those gell tabs (5) going about now

I have never got an answer to this question, and I've asked more than 5 times:
I'm a daily weed smoker, and I get visual effects from weed (like slight patterning when i close my eyes; when i look at Eucalyptus trees all the leaves make weird, 'impossible' trans-3D connections; and sometimes things lose their moorings in 3D and kinda move into different positions when I look for a bit (although these things haven't happened for the past 2 or so weeks because my tolerance is getting high and I should take a 3 day break))..
My question is: does this mean I'm a 'visual' person, and will get mad visuals from shrooms etc?

I used to get visuals from weed when I was 14/15 but once I started doing acid I never got any more visuals from weed, but I get great visuals from acid and shrooms as long as I'm not buzzing about madly looking everywhere!

If you want good visuals wait a month or 2 then eat 7-10 grams. The longer you wait the bettet. Or you could huff some gas while tripping.

Thats what I was goign to suggest, maybe try waiting a month or 2, and start again, Im taking a break for a while, and then doing about 5 grams. I have had a level 5 from about an eigth once. And took more once and didn't se much

Try to get youre hands on some mescaline if you want some visuals. Or try to mix shrooms and acid. Like eat a couple grams and take 4 hits. Or next time youre doing holusinaginic try whippits.

Your tolerance builds up to mushrooms/acid/most tryptamines/phenethylamines quickly, but also dissipates at about the same speed. All you need is a three day waiting period between tripping. Maybe four. Possibly a week if you've gone to much excess (a binge). If you're just taking psychedelics for the visuals you probably shouldn't consider upping the dose to increase them, ego-death can be such a hard experience. And if you aren't getting visuals from what are excessive dosings, get a new drug dealer or make your own.[This message has been edited by fbetsy (edited July 06, 2000).]

dont eat anything for at least 8 hrs beforehand.i went around 2 yrs without visuals from shrooms then a friend at a party gave me one 3" shroom after my not having lunch or dinner. just off that one i was getting a verry good buzz. a couple hrs later he gave me one of an equal size and a while later i was seeing great colors and shapes. i know it was not just the shrooms because i had gotten some from the same source earlier. SO DONT EAT ANYTHING.
