What is the attraction to patchouli?  I know so many really cute hippie girls that are fun and attractive...but they fucking reek like patchouli!

I would imagine that the attraction is mostly that the wearer enjoys the smell

Also, it is incredibly strong and can hide any odors (feminine, masculine, etc).




I fucking love patchouli (but I also bathe, so it's just for smell, not utilitarian purposes)
I wear it, burn the incense/smudge/candles...

I dunno.  I prefer more natural odors.  I would rather smell someone's BO then patchouli probably. 

Admittedly, sometimes you get both at once.

No shit. I allowed my cousin and her boyfriend to stay with us for a while. They decided bathing wasn't good for them and did the patchouli thing. I had to make them homeless again.

I like the smell. I never wear it, but I don't mind the smell.

When I sell my hemp jewelry I usually toss some on there to counteract the fucking manure smell haha. Other than that I don't.

I burn the incense though. Love it.

The smell of the patchouli alone is OK. Mixed with body funk from under fat rolls sucks.

I like the smell of vinegar and gasoline but you don't see me going around dousing myself in those scents because it'd piss people off. Same should be said for that horrid plant.

I love patchouli only thing i use to smell good

if you use to much it smells bad though, buy the organic kind it really does smell better, smells sweeter

i have a small bottle and i only use one tiny drop out of it and ill smell good for a few days
