Azur Report from NW Tip of OR:)
    #934733 - 10/05/02 04:40 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

Right hummidity but the temps not low enough yet.  Very little mushroom activity at all in a lot of respects.  Not tripping over bolletes... and such.  I had to actually look to see any mushrooms at all.  Sign of fire.  Prob from partiers this past summer?  Anyhow only lichens and puffballs:)  until later.

I am pretty sure its a safe bet to assume the lack of fungal activity is mainly due to the very dry summer we had, without moisture the myceliums cant vegetate so to speak before fruiting in the fall.
