"semilanceata" questions?

Hey all...

I just got a dried out batch of these shrooms that are said to make you trip balls from two trustworthy friends. They say you can trip balls on half a gram of these.

So I look at the package and they look like legit mushies for sure. I searched erowid for pics of shrooms that look the same.

They really appear to be "semilanceata", if not cyans...they are definitely not cubens.

Can someone tell me how "semilanceata" ranks up in quality with the others. I have only had one legit shroom trip before and I believe they were cubens when I was drunk and it took like 2 grams at least to get tripping.

If they arent "semilanceata" then how do cyans rank?

I can post a pic of them later too if you guys don't know what the hell I'm talking about or if they are semilanceata for sure...

just wondering if semis are the best shrooms out there or one of the best that will make you trip out?

I'm hoping for a trip this friday.

Half a gram isn't going to do it.

I would recommend starting at 30-50 mushrooms, and going up until you reach what you like.

They said over 2 grams of this stuff can kill you/give you a bad trip.

Do you know what kind that could be?

Don't think there are active mushrooms that can kill you...Psilocin containing ones at least.

2 Grams of Cyans or Subar. may give you an intense level 3, but from the picture those aren't either it doesn't look like.

If you don't know what they are for sure do not eat them. Try to get some pictures of the mushrooms up close, and someone can probably give you an educated guess...These people clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

Psilocybe Semilanceata (or liberty cap) grow in numbers around here. Half a gram is, supposedly, a pretty standard dose. A quarter gram is a light trip, and one gram is a moderate/heavy dose... (for most people, ofcourse)

I'm not talking from personal experience, though...

Yea, 2 grams of liberty caps would give you a nice level 3 trip, but nothing more. 3-4 would take you in to a 4-5.
