Hunting the Elusive Psi. Sem. in Nova Scotia - Part IX

Hi Guys, I am reluctant to post this out of embarrassment granted our local shroom hunting Deity, Mitchnast, may come across this thread, but I have failed yet again to find any psi. sem..  This trip saw me voyage to yet another county in the province, namely that of Colchester County.  So basically I have crisscrossed Nova Scotia to no avail :frown:. Moreover, my first two attempts to grow mushrooms via the PF Tek method did not even succeed in showing a hint of colonization, although I think the failure may have resulted from a faulty syringe which was the same spore donor in both attempts.  Ironically, I had a lovely Thai coconut soup recently loaded with mushrooms that was absolutely delicious, as if God himself is taunting me.  I digress, anyways, I did happen to find my first jelly fungi which made the trip worth it!

The black ellipses highlight teeth marks where an animal bit into the mushroom!  I hope it is edible ;-)

That pasture sure looks good place to find libs. One of my lib patch looks very similar, just keep looking and i think that you will find some nice libs..

Cheers guys!  I will likely not head out anymore this season unless someone from Nova Scotia posts to the message board claiming to have found some psi. sem..  Anyways, would either of you be able to confirm or provide some suggestions for a classificaiton of the mushroom specimens?

Hi all,

First time post here after searching the net for info about shrooms in Nova Scotia. Everything lead me to this forum more of less so I'm just going to go with it.

I see many Nova Scotia folks posting here (or a few anyway) such as Mitchnast, and drama of course. This thread is one of the most recent NS related threads I could find and it's a good year old. I was curious if there are any NS shroomers around here anymore?
