wellbutrin

Ive had some sitting for about a year and a half and want to use it again to quit smoking.  I know absolutely nothing about pills and am wondering if it is possible they may have lost potency?  If so, would it be harmful in anyway to consume said pills?

Possibility of slight potency lose, but will most likely be unnoticeable. So yeah for smoking cessation it should be good, I used it for awhile cuz of my adhd and my smoking, alot of the act of quitting to smoke is internal though you ahve to want to quit.
Aside from wanting to quit smoking there is nothing fun to really be gained by using them outside their normal use which is for mild anti depressant effects, as a mediation for ADHD and the cessation of smoking. If you have any sort of epilepsy, I would urge you to be very careful as wellbutrin does lower the epileptic threshold.

Anyway good luck quitting, it is such a bitch.

I smoked socially for 8 months while I was on welbutrin. I'm talking less than 10 cigarettes a month. Within a month of me quitting I was smoking 3-5 packs a week.

And that's continuted since then. I did go back on welbutrin about 2 years ago briefly, but I found it had no impact on my smoking then.

It's very confusing to try and figure out how antidepressants work. They are crazy crazy drugs.

Yeah, scary.

I've heard some nightmare stories about SSRIs and had a pretty lame time on NARIs.

I wonder if wellbutrin is a little more mild.

I also wouldn't mind a boost in sex drive.

Doesn't need to be PHWOOOOOAR, I could deal with Phwur.

All i've got right now is "fuh".


EDIT: The NARI was Strattera, for adhd. It made me even less fun than dexedrine did.

HAHAHA I love that, It made my morning. Yeah Straterra is satan in a pill form. That shit mad me a zombie at one point and I contemplated suicide so seriously I had to call my mother to come and watch me to make sure I didn't. It was horrible. The Wellbutrin doesn't give you much sex drive, but damn after a few weeks of taking it you will take for ever to blow a load, you are like a champion at lasting forever.
