Slugs

Slugs destroyed my patch last night :frown:

I dont know what to do , I have poured so much salt around the patch but every night they come back in numbers.

It seems the slugs go over the salt and eat my spawn then die on it leaving gelatinous mess. Any other natural repellents for slugs and snails besides salt?

Consider this a free bump, seeing as I don't know anything about outdoor cultivation, but I do know this:

Cedar wood is toxic to many insects, possible spread a circle of cedar woodchips around the patch? Maybe not too close, I'm not sure of it's effects on 'shrooms.

maybe you should make a ring of salt 10 meters away from the patch so that they die off before they get to it :smile: 

iono...  use a freakin 12 guage, should clear em out

Put beer in little plates that they can get to. Those fuckers will be dead in no time.

Beer works a treat, as said above put it in really low saucers or something.

Slugs are all alcoholics :evil:

Cedar is toxic to shrooms !

most plant defences work, copper slug pellets etc..
