So my buddy just had a stroke...

He'll be all right, though. It wasn't anything major, but he's been in the hospital since last night having tons of tests (including an MRI) done.

I was hoping to get him some get-well type of gift, but I can't think of anything good that would help cheer him up.

Any ideas?

P.S. When he had his stroke, he was totally incapable of turning left. He could turn right just fine, but he would fall over and collapse if he tried to move to the left. It reminded me of Zoolander :smile: "I'm not an ambiturner."

3 old ladies where sitting on a park bench. Ethel, Marge and Bessie. Just then a flasher runs up to them, opens his coat and exposes himself to the 3 ladies. Immediately Ethel has a stroke. Marge has a stroke also. But Bessie, being feeble and weak couldn't reach that far.

thats unfortunate that happened to your friend. no clue what hes into so its hard to suggest a gift, i usually give candy or drugs to people when i dont know what to buy...everyone loves candy.

I'm glad to see people laughing in this thread.  Strokes are no laughing matter, but humor is the best [additive to] medicine IMO.  I hope your friend makes a quick recovery, send him my wishes.  :sun:
