Okay so I am a very good photographer. An exceptional post processing person, and I do pretty good at graphic design.

The bottom line is I want to sell my prints / edits, and I don't really know how to go about finding clientelle.

Anyone know of any internet resources available for this? I've been on google, but I don't know which are the best, and I want to cut through the BS quickly if I can.

Soooo yea, any helpful ideas would be helpful. Thanks all.

You want exposure then you have to do a bit of give-away--  like offer to do flyers for your local rock/metal/punk bands, just ask for help buying the paper and copy time at kinkos- it's a reasonable request because they would have to do it on their own anyway. 

Those flyers get shown to thousands of people, posted on bulletin boards and telephone poles and dorm hallways and classrooms everywhere.  Then someone will ask who did the flyers and your name will come up or if not then you will have one more thing in your portfolio to show off to potential clients.

Also, put some art on here in your gallery... we want to see it too!  :smile:

okay I have shared about 15 pictures in my <code>photoshop</code> folder under this user name. have a look.

about 5 are portraits, and they are a bit less up to par than the others in my opinion, but they were shot with a cell phone camera that's only 1.3MP (and of course the lens is crap), so take them with a grain of salt please. :smile:

i am purchasing a pentax k200D at the end of this month, so i'll be back in business as far as decent hardware goes.

oh, and i will try to promote myself more on DA. i guess i need to friend and comment whore over there a bit more often. heh heh.
