hi, this is my first time doing orrissas, not my first time. i used the pf-tek, and made a ton of jars, some out of birdseed, some out of brf. they colonized, now i have had them in my chamber for about a week now, and they arent doing anything! well, 1 of them has started growing arms, but it doesnt look like any pin heads are on it, so i dont know what it would be called! i have been airing them, and msiting them, alot, the same as i always do, and im not getting any thing! are orrissas not as good on seed subtrate as brf? (i made more seed) i cant think of what i am doing wrong! can someone help me!

man, i've been working on orissa's and i have found that they love birdseed to dung more than anything else. i dont use pf's tek anymore. try using some of your bseed to spawn dung or compost. you will be happy with the results.

HI...i ve got some orissas spores and i was thinking to use the PF tek for the cultivation with vermiculite and brown flour rice, but im reading from you that is not recommended , my questions are:
-its to bad to use BRF??
-what should i use instead and how do i prepare it??
-i am from southamerica so i dont know what you mean with birdseed(how do i prepare it??)

Orissa's love poo!
They will grow on BRF cakes.
But they tend to stay small on BRF cakes.
I just did some Orissa's and kept a few BRF cakes to fruit off just for shits and giggles.
They got over 10" on the BRF cakes.
You could spawn some poo with the BRF cakes.
I spawned some horse poo with BRF cakes and got some monsters.
I had some Orissa's grown on the horse poo that were 22" long. 
The caps were almost 6" wide.
I have grown Orissa's on BRF, Rye Grain, Millet, and WBS.
Spawn horse poo with anyone of these substrates and it's all good!!!

Thanks very much ..but now i got these problems ..how and in wich step of the PF tek should i sterilize the poo?? should i make the substrate with vermiculite-BRF-horse poo-and water?? in what proportions??

You don't use poo in the PF tek.
You will colonize your jars following the PF tek...then follow a poo tek.
After your jars are colonized try this... horse poo tek pictorial
Or you could use cow shit and straw...instead of horse poo.

My experience with OI's on brf/verm cakes is that they grow very small fruit. But that was only one grow on about 10 cakes so i thought some other variable may have been to blame.
I had much better luck with OI's with poo
