Hummmm, yea now that I think about it your right. the warm air would more than likely dry out the jars.....Well I was mainly thinking for the use of agar since you cant submerge a petri dish....well hummm, could still use a laminar flow hood and just use a heating pad as a heat source. Thanks moe!

oh and yes I have done the jars in water worked good....but even I dont remember who posted it.

Moe, or PanTrop, search the Advanced Mushroom Cultivation forum for "incubation" during the last 30 days. You should get a strain about something like submersible jars or something like that. In that strain we discussed the water-thermostat-heating pad incubator.
