Anyone with an STD, do you always tell the girl?

I have genital herpes, basically just a carrier.  Maybe once a year I'll get a sore on my dick but besides that I never get outbreaks.

I have fucked plenty of girls since I got herpes and have never told any of them I have it.  None of them has ever come back to me saying they got herpes so I don't think I have contracted it to anyone.

I guess I'm a bit of a scumbag and definitely selfish for not telling them.  I mean, if I had HIV I sure as hell wouldn't fuck a girl without telling them.  That is straight up evil.

But, it's herpes.  Something like 1/5 of the population already has it even if they don't know it, some can get it and never show any signs or symptoms, it's not deadly, and if your not having an outbreak it is hard to contract the virus.  I have never fucked a girl during an outbreak.

Anyone else have an STD and play it off the same way?

I think it's a good practice to tell.  You never know when your honesty will bring hers out and she'll have an STD you might want to know about.

Or she could have something that will make your dick rot and fall off and not tell you because you were too selfish to tell.

By the way, that IS how people get herpes, others don't tell them.  I have had genital herpes since 1995, one outbreak and nothing since.  I always tell.

I have hpv and don't tell chicks. If they get it they should have got the vaccine. Plus I do were condoms at least.

I am a girl and I have herpes.  I sometimes tell guys....when i first found out, i told the guy i was with, because i knew i had to...then somewhere down the road i lost my morals, and since people make jokes about herpes all the time, and it is socially unacceptable even though a whole shit load of people have it (pretty sure it's way more than 1/5, but it's not something most doctors test for regularly, you have to ask, and who is going to do that?)  I did not have the courage to tell anyone.  So it has been a couple years, and my relationships are usually short, because i am feeling guilty the whole time.  But I decided I was sick of it, I need a stable relationship, so I told this latest guy the truth (after we had sex, which REALLY fucking sucked)...not the sex, but telling him about it;) .  he interruped me as I was explaining more about the virus, to say that he really respected me telling him, and that he has it too.  We were never so happy to find out that the person we had sex with had an std!  I did it once, and I think it will be easier the next time...but I'm still not looking forward to having to do it.  The problem I usually have, is I never know who might be in for a longer relationship....so I think I'm only going to be seeing this person once, and then it turns out we are really good for each other, and it makes it way harder to tell the person  after the fact....

As a woman, even if I didn't have this virus, I would be very understanding and respectful of any guy telling me he has an std.  Most people at least have friends who have it.....and most people have it and don't know.  How about guys?  Are they going to be understanding, or are they going to be a bit scared, and immediately go tell their friends?  Because honestly that is what the girl's perspective is on this issue.  I hope other people can tell the truth about it from a different angle.

far more people with herpes have symplex 1 then symplex 2. most of those cases are transmitted when they were young. most of symplex 2 is transmitted by fuckheads that dont tell thier partner they have it.

stds scare the shit out of me. i dont have much luck with them. i have had my bore punched 2 times. ( q tip in the tip of your penis ) i was married for 5 years and the not having to worry about that shit is nice. but being single and having to worry sucks. i just had sex with a skank in the dark the first time. the next time lights on and fuck me. she had some shit growing down there. claims its in grown hairs on her inner thighs (fat girl and diabetic makes healing and scars) or so she claimed. its been about a month and nothing strange going on.
