Here is the situation that YOU are in.

Lets say you want to do something completely irrational to what one would call "realistic" expectations within the next few months.

Lets say that everyone around you says it can't be done.

Lets say that even your family members have verbally doubted your ability to do this.

How would YOU react?

I'd listen to their arguments and see if they had any validity. Then, I'd rethink the whole thing and make my decision.

So if your plan was to fly across the grand canyon with no aid of any sort; just running and jumping. And then somebody tells you that there's a possibility that you could die, something you don't want to do. Do you still attempt to fly?

Id pigheadedly ignore them and do it anyway. Other people's expectations have never stopped me from doing anything before; why should they now?

Im planning on driving across 5 continents in one continuous trip. I will have to get across the berring strait either in the winter when its frozen over, or by an expensive privately chartered helicopter ferry.

ANY right thinking individual will tell me it cant be done and I shouldnt try and Im a fool/insane for even wanting to do this.

It doesnt change it from being my dream.
