Fine, please present evidence that heroin harms your body. I've never seen it.

I've know plenty of hard-core junkies that are fully functional. Never met any tweeker for which I could say the same.

physically, cant it ruin your veins and tissue?

i know the one time i had a needle in my arm, my vein dissapeared forever.

i have the thick veins that run down my bicept to my wrist ya know, on both arms, one shot...one gone:shrug:

my body didnt like it.

infections.

scars.

i dont know what sort of harm it could do mentally or emotionally, but im sure it does. just cuz it doesnt hurt you doesnt mean it doesnt hurt others...

i did (edit) of coke and my nose is fine, ive had buddies to a few rails and get fucked up sores inside their nasal passages, etc.

heroin is definitely harmful, if you don't shoot up right, or have really impure H, or do it too often and collapse all your veins ...

but it certainly isn't nearly as harmful as tweaking, IMO.  especially since you tend to still sleep a bit when opiated, but when you're tweaking your body is running on reserve the whole time ... which usually is for a few days.  not many old tweakers still running around, but definitely old heroin addicts still about.

Exactly.

Heroin isn't very bad if you no what you are doing.

Really the only bad parts are that you will get addicted if you start doing it a lot but if you have the money to get it all the time, that is not much of an issue. And also that it is relatively easy to OD, but if you are careful, there is very little chance of dying. You need to get shit of known purity from someone you trust so there is much less of a chance of doing too much by accident. You should also do it (especially if you inject) with someone you trust so that if you OD they can call 911 and you will most likely be saved by a naloxone injection.
