his dad kicks his chair, kicked him over in his chair once, and takes his "pain and allergy" meds so he can consume them himself

personally i think lucid just needs to call the cops on his dad, either that or stop complaining, shits obviously not good where he is, but he has the option to end the torture

From reading this...It sounds to me like you are being honest. I can usually tell people who want attention, and you don't come accross like that. You need to grow some nuts, and tell your dad how its going to be.

Find a way out man...No way I would live that way. Hope it gets better for you. :thumbup:

It also wouldn't hurt if you could roll your wheelchair to a store where you could buy a tape recorder.  As long as you make a positive impression on the cops, I really don't think they'll just give your dad the benefit of the doubt and throw you in the nuthatch... but it wouldn't hurt to have some tapes backing up your side of the story.

Have you talked to your doc about your situation?

Yea, I agree. They won't just take you if you are a level headed person. That doesn't mean your dad might just tell you to get out of the house. I don't know how old you are, but I would start working on a backup plan. There are plenty of things that you can get help with through your local community/government to get you started. I had a wreck, and had some brain damage that I was fortunate to recover from, but anyway they helped me do everything I needed to do.

Take some computer classes. You can make a nice living servicing PC's, or doing help desk support. Or hell if you take if far enough you can make a forune being a network administrator with the right degree's/certifications.

That place is no good for you.

i used to smoke marijewana before going to the bar, and/or drinking.

just needed less, plus it made the bad effects of ethanol go away.

i notice i get drunk, and then say "this isnt enough" then i drink more and get too drunk. then i want it to go away.

if you drink steady, you prolong it, but then you feel crappy.

also drink water, it will make you feel more euphoric than disphoric.

the other guy about the german beer kegs.

well, i like the idea, but you have to drink it all in a day.

i wish they where like the cool heineken ones.

but even though its draft, which tastes better, its more 'spensive.

All i had to drink tonight was a 32oz can of highlife, so i took me 20mg of valium, which has made things quite a bit better, but still not fucked like i was aiming for, so i'm eye-balling this 30mg temazepam right now, trying to decide if i should take it and risk falling asleep or if i should save it for another time...
