pinkish red mushi growing on wood

Habitat:
growing on rotting wood

Gills:
off white, attached, seemed to be very evenly dispersed

Stem:
about an inch and a half to two inches, dark redish brown, seem fairly stirdy, certainly not brittle.

Cap:
about two centimeters in diameter, brownish pink in color getting darker near the top, spherical in shape, concave, soft but not brittle, transparent around the edges.

Spore print color:
pending, ill let you know in a few hours

Bruising:
no apparent bruising

Other information:
smells like straight mushrooms

yet again, sorry for the lack of pictures, i really need to invest in a digital camera

Sounds like a mycena but that's just a complete guess
