Newt, you've got to be one of the absolute coolest people at The Shroomery. You're interested in all of the great ones.

I've never read anything by Hoffman, but I would love to read "Steal This Book" sometime. Abbie Hoffman is a spiritual aly of mine.

I have a copy of Steal This Book. Good survival manual if we were in the 60s :wink:

Just kidding... it's an awesome book, but a lot of the material is outdated.

Abbie Hoffman is amazing. My dad was a yippie in college. I went through a lot of trouble to "borrow" a copy of the big, bulky "Steal This Book." Its a excellent book with lots of great insite on protesting and generally obeying the laws of alternative cultures.

One of my favorite scenes in 'Steal This Movie' is when Hoffman trys to sell the book to the hippie guy in the store.

Ive got the red, white and blue copy. I was almost positive they where going to notice me walk out with it in my hand, but some greater force musta helped me. :smile:
