You really think Obama will express our opinions?  He's a tool.

"I'll agree to only use public funding for my campaign if McCain agrees to do the same"
"Oh shit, I have a ton more money than him? Fuck public campaign finance."

"I do not support offshore drilling"
"My energy plan includes offshore drilling! Hooray!

He's a politician, man.  He's maybe a hairswidth better than McCain. Maybe.

Does anyone remember the 20/20 experiment, where 20/20 used a kindergarten class, and had two women teach the class, one was pretty, and the other was ugly.

The pretty teacher taught nothing, was generally slow and had an attitude.

The ugly teacher was nice, taught some curriculum and was smart.

After the classes were over, the kids were questioned and the kids said the pretty teacher was nice and smart, and they learned a lot.

The kids said the ugly teacher was mean and dumb.

How do you define "sheep"?

Once I opened up my mind, I realized that everyone follows something or somebody.

I guess I am a "lamb" that follows the ideals of Marc Emery, Dr. Ron Paul, so I am a sheep?

To me, this one is a no-brainer.  Abraham Lincoln was a genius in ideas, words and action.  He understood more fully than anyone of his time that the destruction of the Union was tantamount to the death of liberty, and was willing to do whatever it would take (be it popular, or wildly despised) to maintain the experiment dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Say what you will about liberty and freedom being dead today, but what you have now was inconceivable 300 years ago, and was saved from oblivion in large part thanks to Lincoln.  No president, before or after, ever did anything that rivals the service paid by Lincoln, with the possible exception of Thomas Jefferson.

"There are no accidents in my philosophy. Every effect must have its cause. The past is the cause of the present, and the present will be the cause of the future. All these are links in the endless chain stretching from the finite to the infinite."
