My friend gave me good advice.
Once you want a specific tattoo, wait 2 years, and if you still want it, get it.
I am thinking about getting a tattoo of a raindrop about to hit the lake (to remind me of my theory inspired by Chinacat's raindrop post). I am going to wait a long time, and if it still holds true, I will get it in two years or so.

Not to say that you guys don't know what you want.
That is what I am going to do, not what you necessarily should do.

I can't make decisions about if I want to leave my half eaten piece of bread in the car or take it into the store and end up taking about three minutes before my girlfriend yells at me and I just drop it and run after her.

It's pretty straightforward you tit. What I'm saying is that for me, the idea is not about getting a tattoo for the sake of it, it's about getting something that means a lot to you tattooed on your body.



i agree but if that comment was directed towards me, i used inspiration from one piece of art to create another that was meaningfull.  Just as the op isnt asking for a picture of a tattoo in order to get that exact tattoo done.  He is looking for inspiration.
