BRF / Vermic turned Yellow-Please Help!

A friend of a friend is growing for a second time..
Last time he grew 20 PF cakes and not one contam.

Now he switched from B+ to Acadian Coast and only did 5 jars and followed all the same steralization procedures as the time before

Jars were placed in a high temp area (high 80's) and within 2 days he noticed these splotchy yellow colors on the BRF in the cake, it doesn't look like anything is growing, just that it turned about a dirty piss colored yellow. All 5 jars showed the same yellow thing. Now, 3 days later he sees the mycelium starting to grow, even in the yellow spots. Is the yellow a contam or just from the heat? He would be grateful for any help and regrets that no picture is available.

Yellow = bad.

I would start over again .
