The 13 Moon Calender and Birthday Glyphs

Many think we need to go back to this system, of natural time, to reharmonize with nature and the galaxy.

The 13 "moon-ths" consist of 28 days each. 28 x 13 = 364. There is 1 day, "out of time" each year. This calender puts us in sync with nature. A tree grows 1 ring each year. A dolphin functions on a 28 day calender.

This system gives you a glyph depending on your birthday. You also have 4 surrounding glyphs which are your challenge in life, your inner power, your guide, and your like minded glyph, those who you attract to and click with. How is having one whole day 'out of time' more in sync with nature than our current one quarter day 'out of time'?

In the end there is no 'in sync' with nature.  Nature is varied and diverse with cycles of all sorts.

The 13 months correlate with the 13 moon cycles of the year. Reharmonizing with the feminine lunar energy.

The dolphins track time on the grooves of their teeth I hear, but I do not know this well enough to state as fact.

When it comes to the 13 moon calendar, I basically see it as being practical. 4x7 days for each 28 day month. It's very uncomplicated when compared to the business Vatican-created calender we operate our culture system on today.

Another thing that appeals to me about the 13 months is that it redefines time, and makes it more personal and nature oriented. It's not a calender of business. Its measure of time is not money. It's about inspiration and celebration.

It tosses the flawed machinery of our mechanistic society out into the void, and replaces our sense of time with a new pattern, a new canvas for creating new and healthy cultural paradigms.

That I believe is always something worth aiming for. :peace:

I'd say the four glyphs are kind of like... Compatible zodiacs, but may not only refer to certain people, more like, if a glyph is in your quadrant, than you may be more in sync with the day that is more in sync with that particular glyph? Maybe? What's your take on how to follow the calendar?

No because we'd have one extra car payment, mortgage payment, phone bill, and gas & electric bill every year. believe me, the business world would find a way to prosper with this system at our expense.

Oh they definitely would, but I'd say that in using this calendar, the human race would be more connected with nature and more in tune with the Divine, creating a much more peaceful economy. Who knows how it'd be, really. That's my understanding of the calendar anyway. And I think that's already been said here. I'd like to meet someone who actually follows it.
