It really depends on the situation.  Someone catches me off guard with a gun, they get the stash.  If I can find the person, they're dead.  If I have a chance of defending myself, I would.  Also depends on whether I'm intoxicated on something or not.  That's why I don't rob drug dealers anymore, too many variables; not worth risking life.

To the OP: robbing people, especially drug dealers is bad fucking karma and you will get whats coming to you. Eventually you will rob the wrong mother fucker and they will hunt your ass down out of principle and if you're lucky they'll just leave you bleeding and bruised in an alley.

My ex started dating a guy who used to rob dealers with his friends, he eventually got busted for stealing a car and cleaned up once he got out of jail. She met him a few months after he was released, he went out one night to meet some friends at a bar and along the way one of the guys he had robbed was out with his crew and spotted him. He's now in the hospital with a few broken bones and a concussion, he could easily have been killed.
