Size of PR around harvest time
    #858716 -

Im growing some PRs and i was wondering about how long in inches are they around the time when the cap breaks away fromthe veil. One of the caps is starting to turn a light brown is this a good sign?

To be honest, I think all of the strains are invariably variable in their potency.

I`ll say hands down they are as potent as everyone says.
I`ve reacently compared b+, PR and Amazonian mushrooms over a gap of a few weeks and have seriously noted a difference in all three.
More so with the PRs which by my reckoning were good potent mushrooms.
The others were faboo as well but the PR impressed me.

One of the reasons you might note a differance in potency is;

IMHO.......... I say again.................. IMHO............

Upon ingesting a P.C., you gain a very strong tolerance - almost immediatly.

That tolerance lasts about 3 weeks.

So, taking one kind - one week -- then another kind -- the following week & another kind -- the week after that ..............

builds a tolerance in your system & the comparison of the three strains...

is not accurate .

Hey Six Tango I was just wondering where you got your tolerance data. To the best of my knowledge tolerance to psilocybin and psilocin is essentially set back to ground state within 3-4 days maximum. If you have sources of more current research I would love to peruse them.
thanks

Nothing scientific . Just my personal opinion :smirk:. Lot's of trips, now & again . Funny, the full moon has something to do with a Raccoons ........... trips.

Seems like, once upon a full moon = max effect.

ok Siz tango then explain this.
The b+ were taken one week.
! week waited and the same amount of PR taken.
Deffinatelly stronger, so tolerance concept disproven.
Next I took amasonians almost 3 weeks later and not as strong as the pr.
So I waited another 2 weeks and took more PR and this time less than the amasonian and b+ and still the PR were stronger.
I don`t just take mushrooms to get high either, I try to experiment and learn something everytime.
So as far as just taking to get high, then maybe tolerance will come into it.
Controlled environments with controlled amounts will deffinatelly give you a better understanding of what is more potent.
I`ve also experienced variances in length and type of trip.

Another point would be that I always smoke herb during my mushroom trip and always quite a bit of herb.
My personal preferance.
My point is that I take shrooms normally under controlled environments with the same or very similar variables.
I think by saying I`ve noticed a difference, I`m meaning it and not just saying it.

People around me have deffinatelly noticed as well.
Give a person a handful of PR and then a month later a handfull of b+ they deffinatelly will notice the difference.

PR's can look very different from cake/casing to cake/casing. The can be short and stump or tall and skinny. Just try to keep your conditions(temp,Rh,air exchange) good and hope for the best!

As for the potency, they seemed a little big stronger than Maz and EQ. My trips were always nice a visual, i liked!

Good luck, take care!
