Knives
    #8560883 -

So I've got a little collection going. My first knife (on the left) is some shitty one I got a while back at some Army/Navy store. The butterfly in the middle is a cheap $10 one with brass pivots which(:mad2: always go for steel) and to the right, my beloved Italian stiletto.

My butterfly has been pissing me off lately and thinking of springing to buy a much better one that wont crap out on me. I've been looking at this beauty for a few months and am thinking of buying it.

I've heard Benchmades are the best when it comes to cutlery, so anybody that has one please give me some feedback. Also, any other cool knives that I could add to my collection? I'm expecting a large sum of money from a friend soon, and have no intentions of putting it to good use. So suggest away!

I used to have one butterfly with a blade on one side that had a deerhorn handle, I had another one with a double sided blade that flared and went back in and was all chrome color. I used to have two twin switchblades, one pink and one black. Ive got some nice knives now, a couple tantos, a crocodile dundee looking knife, a medium sized balanced knife (handmade), and a futuristic scifi one.

pics mafucka, pics! :yesnod:

Tantos are so badass. One of those is defiantly on my shopping list, next to an out-the-front switchblade like the the Cupid 2.0. The blood groove is so sweet.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like a Benchmade 42 Bali-song it is. I'm so stoked to try it out.

I have a marine recon knife I got from a family member who used to be a seal, and a butterfly, like yours but without the holes, and it crapped out on my too.  A screw or something fell out and ever since, one side has come undone all the time.

I am collector over the years of pocket knives. I have a few big knives but they are shitty. I have once knife given to me by my grandpa 50+ years old with a carbon steel blade and a bone handle. I all in all I have about 7 knives. (I can't remember and too lazy to count. Every knife I own has been a gift to me so they are all special to me.)

But the only knife I carry with me all time is a Kershaw. I  won't leave the house without it. Every time I for time I forget it someone I feel completely naked and lost not to mention I'll need to use it some point.

This is my knife of choice:

It's spring assisted with an on/off switch for the function. It stays sharper longer than any other knife I had. After owning a Kershaw, I will never buy another brand again. It's by far the best knife I own.

Haha, I just watched the X-Files episode where the guy goes around killing aliens with the weapon pictured under the Cupid.

Kershaw is the way to go.

And you can't beat a benchmade butterfly knife

Kerhsaw is the only knife Snap-On tools will endorse. To me, that says a lot about the quality of the blade. I have dropped mine many many times and rarely get a chip in the blade. I haven't sharpened mine in over a year and it's still like a razor. Although after repeated use the tension bar broke but I just sent out for a replacement. Plus you get the lifetime warranty with the knife. No questions asked, and they will send replacement parts. You gotta love that.
