who controls world nuclear policy?

i already googled it..

i wanna know who controls the world policy of nuclear technology. who decides who gets to have nukes and nuclear energy? and what reasons do they use to decide who gets them?

Countries with nuclear capabilities power wise, will sell the technology to other countries.  Canadian reactors for example are of much better design than American and use non enriched uranium, so they can be built in countries without the fear of them using enriched uranium for weapons, because it uses normal uranium.  Canadian technology has been exported worldwide, nuclear power is definitely needed now that fossil fuels are getting expensive.

America got nukes first. They let people they're cool with make their own, like Britain and Israel. When someone they don't like (eg North Korea, Iran, or Iraq, even though they actually weren't doing anything) even gets close to touching nuclear technology it's the impetus for a real shitstorm.

I'm guessing we didn't try to stop China because like a classic bully we shy away from people who actually might be able to match or exceed our own shitstorm.

Policing the world.
