sempervia is a strain of hoog that has a more conical cap without the nipple. dont have my books with me, but are very restricted in location and tend to grow at the higher range of elevations if I remember correctly. grow in the same conditions, though. BIO, I have a question about your zapotecs, have you fruited these yet? I assume that the culture is fairly old? find wassons article in life magazine for more info on the hoogs and other mexican beauties. do you ship cultures to the us? I reallllly want to start working with the hoogs and zapos

any chance that I could get a culture for less and do a little testing to see how well I could get it to fruit on different substrates with different casings?
