Aren't halapenors really spicy and thus it'd have to be little slivers?

Ohh, maybe dark chocolate with cayenne powder mixed in. I need to try this.

There's a really good chocolate bar I buy from the coffee shop by my house.

I don't have one handy or I'd tell you the name of the company, but the bar I love is called Xochitol and is super-dark chocolate with chilis.

It's so delicious.  The whole mild spice and chili flavor with the intense chocolate will blow your mind.

I will let you know tomorrow who makes it...

I had just finished off oxtail soup with many glugs of tabasco in it, then I had some dark chocolate. And the combination of flavours works.

Yeah the Mayan and Aztec tribes were the first to make 'hot chocolate' and it consisted of: cacao beans, chili peppers, honey or other herbs and spices. The mayans didn't use a sweetener but the brew had most of the same components with cacao and chili peppers being the primary ingredient. It was considered the drink of the gods and only the 'elite' would drink it, since cacao beans was their currency.

Something about the way the two combine.. capsicum has many known healing properties but most noted as a major stimulant and increases blood flow, and is synergistic with other herbs. Chocolate, as we know has many helpful properties and has many effects on the endorphin levels of the brain.. containing a lot of tryptpaphan the pre-cursor to serotonin, as well as releasing phenylethylamine which also effects the blood pressure. Combined they are a potent combination of substances.

There are several good bars I get from I get from World Market. Chocolate and chilis are amazing together; the peppers taste somewhat fruity when pared with the chocolate, fucking amazing
