I'm bored, need a good new game but I have no idea about new releases or good games.

Please recommend!

Oh shit yea. Ninja Gaiden 2 just came out. I played the first few missions. If you like killing drones in a very bloody fashion with a variety of ninja weapons, get it.

I've never played a ninja gaiden, is it something i can rent and beat in a week?  (playing a few hrs/day)

You could beat it in a week I'm pretty sure. I beat Ninja Gaiden: Black for Xbox in a total of 15 hours or so. Give or take a few hours.
