My wild guess is Panaeolina foenisecii.

Some better pics of the fresh mushrooms are needed.  Use a digital camera with macro mode (the little flower) enabled.

It would be best to have some pics of them in thier habitat.

Also check out the sample ID request which helps you enter the info that is required to figure out what they are.

they are not foe's... they were growing from cow dung, 1 cap was kinda stickin out an old dry compost with white mycellium (sp)? all over the top of the compost, i took a stick and removed the top piece of the compost, the poop under it was almost lookin fresh but that could have been from the rain, but there were about 5-6 of these, they were about 3 inches tall, maybe just 2 ta 2an a half.. they looked white at first, but when i looked closer they were alot more gray, light gray, the stems are S curved which were also grayish, they didnt snap when i pinched them, didnt bruise blue but bruised black, 1 of the caps were black on 1 side, i assume thats cuz it was growing up and under another cap, which the other caps gills were touching it.. southern kentucky, temps in the 70's or higher in the late late afternoon after a couple good days of rain, like 3 days..it was kinda cool when it rained the whole time but the time i picked them was hot..really humid, southern kentuckys typical late spring early summer weather.. from cool to HOT in a couple days.... again, growing from dung.. there were alot of mushrooms popping out of dung that day but alot of them had the rusty brown spores i read about being mostly poisonous, deciduous type forests surrounding the creek/river banks about 45-60 yards away from where they were spotted, in the cow field with really tall grass yet to be cut for hay..

thats the best description of a habitat i can give lol..now that there dried the gills are jet black, not dark brown.. when i picked them fresh the gills were really dark purple to brownish black looking, growing really close together, the only kind that looked like that the entire day i went huntin, found alot of foe's i disgarded cuz there nothing good i heard, but also read the eastern foes are more potent then that of western, please clarify this for me thanks!

Ok they aren't foes.  Probably another Panaeolus species, maybe something like P. papilionaceus.  Coprinellus also has black spores but your mushrooms don't look much like them.

Take some clear pics of the mushrooms in habitat, especially around the underside of the cap and we may be able to put a better name on it for you.

No foes anywhere are active.  You can't believe everything you read.

Spore deposits on the top of the cap, from the mushroom above it.

Yup, sounds like an inactive Panaeolus or Psathyrella.
It did not turn blue, so it is doubtfully active.
MIGHT be Pan. subbalteatus, which does not always turn blue, however, we need photos of fresh mushrooms to confirm.

.... so many things wrong with that last post.  yes there are several places you can buy spores from on the internet, you will not find a shroom kit that is pre done and all you need to do is wait on it, you will need to prepare things and learn how to even go about this.  Growing your own mushrooms is not the easy way out, its not easy growing mushrooms and the way you are going about mushroom cultivation you are 95% likely to Fail.  Im sorry to come down so harshly on you but you cant just half ass all this and still excpect to get active mushrooms, dont be one of those kids who wants a trip out of mushrooms but doesnt even want to spend the time to read into anything about mushrooms.  Mushrooms aren't all about the trip man.
